Oh you are so going to bust my chops on this one! Would you believe I flew home to PIT to take a flight to EWR via (!!!) Cincinnati because I don't know how to use the public transit system there! I'll make you a deal. I'll help you with flying if you help me with the trains!!! LOL I can get to the A train easy enough, (S Ozone Park) but have no idea where to go after that. You can really stop laughing now! :-) I need to read your message again because I can't move this box to see what time you said you were getting in.

If you happen to have Yahoo Messenger, you can add me... ohpete18

that is so funny! the trains are really really easy....from jfk and newark, you just take a train to penn station (which is the last stop). it makes the commute from manhattan so much easier.

i dont have yahoo messenger.....should i just plan on calling you when i get to terminal c? or should i meet you at terminal b?

    whichever is easiest for you!!

    Hi Nicole!

I fly for Comair (Delta Connection). We are in terminal B. With a transcontinental flight, I'm assuming you're flying out of terminal C. I interviewed with them last year. I'm trying to remember what all is around C. I am going over to have dinner with a really good friend of mine. I couldn't believe it was at the same time you would be there. LOL I get in around 1PM and have to wait around until he is done working. I also sent a text message to a Continental FA I know. I want to see if he knows who is working your flight. Since I get in before you'll get to the airport, give me a call and I will meet you. Are you being dropped off, or are you driving and parking? What part of NYC do you live in that you're flying out of EWR?

I hope we can work on getting over your fear. When my crews find out how petrified I used to be, they cannot believe I overcame my extreme fear of flying. I actually try to think about my fear when I work. No matter what I do, it will not come back. I worked for about a month and lost my fear of heights - at least in the aircraft. I still can't go higher than the third rung of a ladder!

What gate are you going out of?

thanks judy! i just checked and you are right, i am leaving from terminal c, gate 134. i live on the west side so i take the nj transit from penn station and its only a 20 minute ride (so much better than taking a cab in traffic!).

where should we meet? my train arrives at newark at 4pm and then i take the air train so maybe we should plan on meeting around 445pm? i'm an eticket and carryon kind of traveler so i will get through fast once i am at the airport.

thank you again, i am so inspired by your story and hope that i can get that sort of security when i fly.
