I fly for Comair (Delta Connection). We are in terminal B. With a transcontinental flight, I'm assuming you're flying out of terminal C. I
interviewed with them last year. I'm trying to remember what all is around C. I am going over to have dinner with a really good friend of mine. I
couldn't believe it was at the same time you would be there. LOL I get in around 1PM and have to wait around until he is done working. I also sent a
text message to a Continental FA I know. I want to see if he knows who is working your flight. Since I get in before you'll get to the airport, give me a
call and I will meet you. Are you being dropped off, or are you driving and parking? What part of NYC do you live in that you're flying out of EWR?
I hope we can work on getting over your fear. When my crews find out how petrified I used to be, they cannot believe I overcame my extreme fear of flying. I
actually try to think about my fear when I work. No matter what I do, it will not come back. I worked for about a month and lost my fear of heights - at
least in the aircraft. I still can't go higher than the third rung of a ladder!
Reply from nycnicole: thanks judy! i just checked and you are right, i am leaving from terminal c, gate 134. i live on the west side so i take the nj transit from penn station and
its only a 20 minute ride (so much better than taking a cab in traffic!).
where should we meet? my train arrives at newark at 4pm and then i take the air train so maybe we should plan on meeting around 445pm? i'm an eticket and
carryon kind of traveler so i will get through fast once i am at the airport.
thank you again, i am so inspired by your story and hope that i can get that sort of security when i fly.
